Provisional Article 2 - (Added: 28/11/2017-7061/120)

(1) From among graduates of at least four-year undergraduate programs in political sciences, economics and administrative sciences, economics, law, and business administration faculties, as well as the electronics, electrical-electronics, electronics and communications, computer, and information systems engineering departments of engineering faculties, or from equivalent higher education institutions in Türkiye or abroad recognized by the Higher Education Council; those who have entered the profession through a specific competitive examination, completed a designated in-service training period, and passed a special proficiency exam, and who have been appointed to positions within the central organization of institutions with titles specified in subparagraph (11) of paragraph (A) of the “General Provisions” section in Article 36 of Law No. 657, and who have served in these positions for at least two years, excluding periods of unpaid leave, or who are members of academic staff, may be appointed as Personal Data Protection Specialists within one year from the effective date of this article, provided they have scored at least seventy points in the Foreign Language Proficiency Exam and are not over forty years of age as of the appointment date. The number of such appointees shall not exceed fifteen.
